Terms of Use
Terms for using STEM AI Future Lab
These Terms explain how visitors, trainers, educators, counsellors, learners, and other users may use STEM AI Future Lab, trained agents, live agent tools, source-grounded agents, and related learning experiences.
Effective Date: May 10, 2026
These Terms are a practical working policy for this research and learning initiative. They are not a substitute for legal advice and should be reviewed before major public or commercial use.
1. What STEM AI Future Lab is
STEM AI Future Lab is a research and public learning initiative connected to STEM AI Studio. It explores responsible AI education, guided AI agents, STEM reasoning, approved-source training, AI literacy, career readiness, and human-centered learning.
The site may include educational pages, trained agents, model training tools, source-grounded agents, chat experiences, examples, and public learning demonstrations.
2. Research and learning purpose
This website is provided for education, research, demonstration, and public learning purposes. Its goal is to help users understand how AI agents can be designed, trained, tested, and used responsibly.
The website is not intended to replace teachers, counsellors, professional advisors, schools, institutions, employers, or human decision-makers.
3. AI agents and model outputs
STEM AI Future Lab may provide access to AI agents, trained models, live source-grounded agents, RAG-style models, and other AI-assisted tools.
AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, unclear, or unsuitable for your situation. Users are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before relying on them.
AI agents should be treated as guidance and learning support only. They do not have human judgment, professional authority, or independent responsibility.
4. Approved knowledge and source-grounded agents
Some agents are designed to answer only from approved saved knowledge or approved source content. Even when an agent is source-grounded, users should still verify important information.
If an agent does not have enough approved information, it should avoid guessing and may provide a missing-answer response. This means the system may not have enough approved content available, not that the information does not exist.
5. Third-party AI APIs and providers
STEM AI Future Lab may use third-party AI model providers, API services, hosting services, software tools, and infrastructure providers.
AI requests and responses may be processed by third-party providers depending on the selected model, provider, feature, or system configuration. These providers may have their own terms, privacy rules, retention rules, review processes, safety systems, and data handling practices.
Users must not submit sensitive personal information, confidential information, private records, financial account details, health records, government identification numbers, passwords, secrets, or information they are not authorized to share.
STEM AI Future Lab may change, add, remove, or switch AI providers or models at any time to improve safety, quality, cost, reliability, or educational value.
6. User responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use the website and AI tools. You agree to use the site for lawful, respectful, educational, and appropriate purposes.
- - Review AI outputs before relying on them.
- - Avoid submitting private, sensitive, confidential, or unauthorized information.
- - Use human judgment when making decisions.
- - Respect trainer codes, model boundaries, source rules, and published agent limits.
- - Follow instructions shown in the website or tool interface.
7. Trainer codes, models, and source content
Some tools may allow approved users to create, train, test, or publish mini models or source-grounded agents.
If you create or train an agent, you are responsible for the information you add. You must only submit content you are authorized to use. You must not submit copyrighted, confidential, private, illegal, unsafe, misleading, or harmful content unless you have the right and permission to use it in that context.
STEM AI Future Lab may remove, unpublish, archive, restrict, or review any model, source, agent, or content that appears unsafe, inappropriate, inaccurate, unauthorized, or inconsistent with the purpose of the website.
8. Prohibited use
You must not use STEM AI Future Lab to break the law, encourage illegal activity, create harmful content, request or share private personal information, submit secrets or sensitive records, misrepresent AI output as verified professional advice, bypass safety rules, attack the service, or upload content you do not have permission to use.
9. No professional advice
STEM AI Future Lab does not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, employment, safety, emergency, or professional advice. Any information provided by the website or AI agents is for general learning and informational purposes only.
In an emergency, contact local emergency services or the appropriate professional authority.
10. Privacy and data
Your use of the website may involve the collection and processing of information such as messages, prompts, model inputs, training content, source content, technical logs, usage information, and contact information.
The Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, how it may be used, how it may be shared, and how users can contact STEM AI Future Lab about privacy questions.
11. Intellectual property
The STEM AI Future Lab name, STEM AI Studio name, website design, page content, educational structure, agent workflows, training concepts, and related materials may be protected by intellectual property rights.
If you submit content to train or create an agent, you remain responsible for that content and for having the rights needed to submit it. By submitting content, you allow STEM AI Future Lab to use it for operating, displaying, testing, improving, and providing the related website feature.
12. Availability, changes, and disclaimers
STEM AI Future Lab may change, suspend, update, remove, or discontinue any part of the website, agent, model, tool, route, content, or feature at any time.
The website and AI tools are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. STEM AI Future Lab does not guarantee that the website will always be available, error-free, secure, accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific needs.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, STEM AI Future Lab, STEM AI Studio, and their owners, operators, contributors, partners, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, opportunities, reputation, or business arising from use of the website or AI tools.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
14. External links and third-party services
The website may link to external websites or use third-party services. STEM AI Future Lab is not responsible for the content, policies, security, accuracy, or practices of third-party websites or services.
15. Changes to these Terms
STEM AI Future Lab may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms may be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
